Why it works
Legislative aides log every constituent contact. A handful of personal calls from one district can move a meeting onto the calendar that a thousand form emails won't. Your name, your school, your kid's class size — that's what gets read aloud in staff meetings.
Why volume matters
When a legislator's office gets ten calls about school funding in a week, it's noise. When it gets a hundred, it's a constituency. We're already on their radar. Sustained volume is what turns "we hear you" into "here's what we're doing."
Why it's working
WOPE is working with legislators on the school funding crisis. Our efforts have shown up in the work being done to address it, and lawmakers know we're paying attention. None of it closes the gap on its own — but every contact builds the pressure that makes permanent reform possible.
